MoliFilms is a British film production company structured as an HMRC approved EIS Scheme primarily focused on selecting, developing and producing film projects which offers the potential for outstanding returns on any investments made in it.

We believe that investing in British film offers an exciting tax efficient alternative investment proposition on account of the EIS benefits involved, making it an extremely tax-efficient investment opportunity and one that every prudent investor should consider.

One can never guarantee the critical nor commercial success of any film project. Also, much of the “magic” will come from the chemistry that the cast, director and crew develop on set during principal photography and how the film is edited and processed during the post-production phase.

However the MoliFilms team and advisory board will always look for certain key fundamental elements that are usually present in a successful British film. Generally we are looking for a strong representation of the following elements.

Script

We are consistently looking for scripts that present snappy, unforgettable dialogue that will linger in the imagination long after the film has ended. We’re looking for strong, compelling storylines. Above all, we’re looking for fascinating, layered characters with whom audiences can powerfully identify and in whom they can emotionally invest.

Director

These will either be established award winning auteurs or up-and-coming talents in whom we believe passionately. Most importantly, a director must have a clear, vibrant and consistent sense of the kind of visual language that will maximize the impact of the story on the audience and so captivate them.

Producers

We’re looking to work with experienced, innovative producers with proven track records in delivering films with appropriately sized budgets, on time, with production values that punch above weight, balancing creativity with commercial imperative.

Cast

We’re looking for actors that suit their roles both physically and in terms of their emotional range and emotional power. Where appropriate, MoliFilms will look to attach talent that has commercial appeal, with an in-built fan base that has demonstrated the actor’s capacity to aid the selling of the film successfully across all platforms.
